Hi I'm Maya! Artistically I go by Maya Crystal. I was named after my mother, Crystal, who is an artist herself, so I pay homage to her for gifting me with my artistic abilities. Since childhood, I’ve been experimenting and developing my skills and processes as an artist. I find inspiration everywhere I look, and that inevitably filters down into my work. “I draw what I see” is one of my favorite quotes to recall while creating. It reminds me that everyone has their own point of view and my vision is reflected in what I create as an artist.
